Problem with Notes Coloring

When I use the color selection on the notes to highlight my resource in different colors, the highlights are gray the next day.  I tried resetting the color on some of the notes, and they were gray again the next day.

These 2 passages were highlighted in purple yesterday:

 

HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, x64-based, AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72, MS Windows Vista Home Premium.

    Hi Pam,

    I'm not able to reproduce this. Let me ask a few questions to try to narrow this down:

    1. Do you shut down your computer each day?
    2. Does it change to gray after just closing and restarting the program? 
    3. Is this computer synchronized with another computer?   (This may be a problem with note color not synching properly, which will be fixed in beta 3.)

    A bug was recently fixed (for Beta 3) which would yield these results when notes with non default colors were synced between computers. If you are experiencing this on a single computer or the problem doesn't go away in Beta 3 please let us know.

    3.  No, just one computer.

    2. I've been spending the last 90 minutes trying to test this.  [:'(]   I had the program freeze on me a couple of times so that I had to use Task Manager to shut it down. When I tried to restart I got hit with an update.  Then it seemed like the update froze so I rebooted.  When I finally got the program back on I highlighted another block and shut down normally. Now the program is not coming up, just the flash screen.

    Logos apparently has 4 processes going right now although the program hasn't opened yet:

    Does this mean it's still doing the update?

    Go ahead and end the three(3) Logos4.exe processes, then restart the program. Let me know if the same thing happens--splash screen stays on screen.

    Very weird.  I closed the 3 processes, the program started normally, and when I loaded the workspace the last block I had highlighted stayed purple.  I marked another block purple and closed the program.  When I tried to start up again got the same splash screen hangup.  I closed the 3 processes again and the program started normally. Opened the workspace, and now both of the purple blocks have turned gray.  Also, I just got a popup screen that Logos is ready to start another update.
