I know that many New Testament books demonstrate both an utter dependence on Jewish traditions and a distancing from the majority of the Jewish community. How can I study this topic from a Johannine perspective using Logos?

Do the answers in these threads give you a starting point?
My point is that you have already been offered many resources which related to the topic. Rather than asking for another similar list of resources, look at the resources you've already been directed to, and use their footnotes and bibliographies to expand on the specific topic of interest.
This gave me a very basic bibliography as to only a handful of good sources (5-12). The only one that got good traction was https://community.logos.com/forums/t/186446.aspx. Maybe I am not asking for resources in the right forum. is there a good Ancient Jewish forum that you can think of?

I've started many a paper with only one or two good sources and used searches, bibliographies, and notes from there, What is lacking for you is primarily the indexes to journals which often are what point you to critical sources. That's another reason that you need to find a partner in a large research library. You do have academia.edu

That's outside my area of expertise.
My questions to Christian....
1. Where do you get the right to ask these kind of questions in the Logos Forums? Such questions are leading and teach a doctrine that some in the forums do not believe.
2. What are you trying to teach by asking these types of questions?
3. Why do you keep using the Logos Forums for your personal database when these forums were not designed for such applications?
4. As I read my bible... I do not find any such thing as a "Johanine Traditions" or "traditions of John" other than John being a Jew under the Moses Law... which he lived under. Because of this I say you are trying to teach some doctrine not found in the Holy Scriptures.
I think you should stop this kind of "unbiblical teachings" because 1. it is not in the bible and 2. It is against the guidelines of the Logos Forums. Read the guidelines!!!
Sorry everyone.
Apology accepted. Thanks. Hopefully this will be all that needs to be said about the issue.
xnman, do you ever use the term "Pauline epistles?" If you do, then your attack on Christian is inappropriate. There are many appropriate reasons for forum users to be frustrated, but Christian does not attempt to push particular doctrines. I suspect what you are actually complaining about is his style. Christian has made significant progress on focusing his questions and limiting the number of questions in a week. There is also evidence of his trying to be a bit more independent - which I find helpful for identifying the kind of help that will be the most fruitful. But asking for help finding Logos resources is common and within the guidelines:
Please refrain from inflicting your frustration with Christian on all forumites - either report him, contact him personally, or skip his posts. (Yes, I have 3 people on my "usually skip" list -- no one suffers because of it and only one is actually aware of it.)
Recently First Book of Adam and Eve shipped; quite cheap. The Logos blurb puts it 400-500ce, while the final translator puts it 200bce/Judaism. It's clearly layered, but oddly echos Johnine vocabulary. This is the 2nd volume in Logos on the pattern.
