New Feature: Dynamic Resource Toolbar

I hate this. I can't find page numbers and everything I took the time to learn is just not available any more? This is really frustrating and too time consuming for online grad students already pressed for time
I'm sorry to hear that. You can toggle page numbers for most books in the View tab under the Reformat button.

Sorry your post got lost in this thread. Please start a new thread where you will get noticed. This is a peer-to-peer forum and, unfortunately, I'm not sure what you are asking but I know it is possible to transfer the text to other software. You probably don't want to put your email address in as spammers may pick it up.

I can’t find the information for an open book.

I can’t find the information for an open book.
It's on the Home tab, on the righthand side.

Wow, the web app has come a long way since I last looked at it with the toolbar being a nice addition! I would like to see a more functional highlighting tool though.

..."Continue to complain and grumble" about a service for reading the Bible? 😅
Have you not heard that it was said,"14.Do all things without grumbling [complaining] or disputing; "15.so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world," - Php 2:14–15 (NASB95)
You are a light shining in the darkness my friend. 😊 Let no root of bitterness rise up and deceive you about the truth of your existence. You are a child of God, when you believe 😌0 -
I really appreciate this! I'm thankful for Logos and for your team.

I like the direction this is headed. As you bring this to the desktop, I am interested in how you handle visual filters and passage lists.

Late to this, but just wanted to share that I am loving this new toolbar. It feels like the update Microsoft Office did years back with the ribbon (which I love), and makes everything so much more intuitive.

Under the Notes Tab using the Notes Filter and the faceted categories on the left panel, not all notes show under each category listed there and I don't see a way of typing in a search for say a specific notebook like I can on the Desktop. How do I find a notebook that is not visible in the dropdown list in the web app?

I agree with all of that, MJ.
You nailed what I couldn't quite put my finger on with the sanctoral cycle and Verbum. It seemed to be different, but I thought I was imagining it or misremembering how it worked.

What bothers me is that the new menu bar or toolbar always wastes a second line; it would be better to be able to fold it in and out.

If you click the currently "in-focus" heading at the top of the toolbar, the toolbar does close.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I have now discovered that when I click on "home" the second line is shown or hidden.
I didn't understand what you meant?0 -
I didn't understand what you meant?
If you cick Home to open the line with the home options and then click Home again, the second line disappears.
But if you click Home to open the line with the home options and then click View (for example), the second line stays open but now shows the view options. If you click View at this point, the second line closes.
So, to close the toolbar, you need to click the toolbar header for the toolbar options that are currently displayed.

Thanks, all right, it doesn't only work with Home.

Thx for helping me find the page numbers. But where is the "prs" (//). I can still use the right/left arrow to cycle through resources but do we have the option of changing the set we cycle through?

I know I'm very late to the party, but why doesn't my app.logos.com look like everyone else's on this thread?
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

What differences are you seeing?
And some of the earlier screenshots used an earlier version of the app which, for example, had a Go button instead of the Home button

Was the big blue New button functional or was it promotional?
It provided a link to a website (I believe this thread) where people could provide feedback
Also, I don't see the Formatting tab
This is available in the desktop beta but not on web
Also, Favorites is missing.
This "resource-specific favorites" functionality also is not supported on the web app
