Running Proclaim on two computers at once?
My question is can you run Proclaim on two computers at the same time?
For example, running Proclaim in the sanctuary at the same time as running it in the children's or youth area?
Just wondering if this is possible.
Thanks.

Hi Seth
I assume that you actually mean - can you show two different presentations simultaneously?
As the presentations are completely stored (synced to) the presenting computer before use 'on air' this should be ok.
However I am not sure what the implications would be for signals and remote apps.

Yes, you can run Proclaim from two computers at the same time.
Mike is correct, you would want to run a different presentation from each room so people attendees will know which presentation to follow on their mobile device.
If you want to show the same exact presentation, simply right click on the presentation name under OPEN, select "Duplicate" and re-title it for the youth service, or any other service to clarify which presentation should be followed.

Similarly, is there a way to have Proclaim function with a "Master" presentation on one machine and a second machine running a "Client" presentation? It would be nice, for example, to have slides that are being run in the main auditorium be synchronized with machines connected to displays in the foyer, cry room, etc.
Given that a Proclaim presentation talks to the mother ship every time a slide is advanced anyway (which makes the Remote Control apps work), it would seem to be relatively easy on the code side to have the desktop version of Proclaim be able to open a presentation in "Client" mode and advance slides in conjunction with a master presentation.

Our latest version features multi-monitor support, but it does need to be run from the same machine.

i was asking the same question, in order to use two different computers to manage the church service presentation. I want one computer to display and one computer for OBS and live broadcasting. I want the presentation computer to display into a window on the broadcasting computer in order to use the proclaim slides in a Picture in Picture format to make the slides visible on the viewer’s screens at home. Any ideas on how to make this work?

Once you have enough processor speed and graphics rendering, this can all be done on 1 computer.
We currently use 3 displays (workstation, Confidence & Front of House) with FOH also going into our OBS which livestreams to Facebook Live and YouTube. We are using Midi "lighting" signals in Proclaim to send scene changes to OBS automatically.

12 years Later I am wanting to know the same thing. We have our main computer in the back of the church that presents to the TV up front. I am wanting to use my Microsoft surface pro from pulpit and control things like i could with the remote app, but i don't see how to get the remote app on windows.

This has gotten much easier. You can install Android apps on Windows now. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-apps-from-your-android-device-on-your-pc-07d3d029-236e-e71f-3561-d40d7491d435

Has anyone found this to be possible?
My church is currently mobile. We use a MacBook at the stage for a projector, and another MacBook at FOH for livestreaming. I’d like to be able to run both On Air so that the FOH live-streaming MacBook could apply lyrics to the livestream. Any other work around would be appreciated!

@Brandon Norris, rather than 2 computers we do both Proclaim Projection and Livestream from One Computer. We are on Windows, but I would presume Mac to be very similar. We don't currently do lower-thirds, but rather use picture in picture in our Livestream with lighting cues in Proclaim to change the scenes in OBS that is livestreaming to YouTube and Facebook Live simultaneously. We use the Proclaim Main screen as one of the video inputs in OBS, then we can move that PIP window to various places depending upon if the main video is the piano, keyboard, pulpit, whole stage, front floor, or side of stage. see for samples. [FYI, upgrading resolution of our back of house camera to 4K is in the plan for early 2025].

We send 2 different feeds using "NDI" (see https://ndi.video/tools/) from our "Proclaim Projection" computer to our "Streaming" computer which uses Livestream Studio6 - BUT OBS, VMix or any of that can add an NDI input would work - One of my NDI outputs is simply a virtual second output of the main screens (for graphics and other full size stuff) then on the songs I have another output I called Song Caption, I turn off background, and pushed the output down to the lower 3rd, I then add that lower 3rd to my broadcast during worship and the lyrics on the Main Screen become the captions on the Live Stream
