Proclaim Remote App Doesn`t display content edited when on air

Hi everyone, I am a new user coming from propresenter. I was interested in using the proclaim remote app as a confidence monitor. We will use the app to transcribe what the pastor writes on the board so that everyone can see it clearly. For this I need to use the edit contents feature while the presentation is on air. I really love the editing feature and it works perfectly for my churches use case. However, the problem comes up that the content after being edited does not show up on the proclaim remote app. Is there any fix for this?

bumping in hopes of getting an appropriate response

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Bumping again for visibility. We are a Plymouth Brethren church with an open worship format and we do live edits and inserts of songs and Bible passages. Along with the general flakiness of the remote app when connected locally (we have the Stream Deck plugin which is ironically rock solid), this really reduces the utility of the Remote app for us. It would be so much more viable with a few minor fixes. Another thing: Logos in preaching mode from my iPad is also rock solid when it comes to changing verses so it is really weird the Remote app is less reliable

    Hi -

I've been using Proclaim for over 10 years - so I've been around for a while. I use Proclaim Remote on an iPad to control my parts of the service as Pastor - so I'm changing slides when I'm doing liturgy, reading scripture and using illustration slides in my sermon (10-15 slides typically). One thing I know FOR SURE is that you cannot make Proclaim changes live during the service and expect the Remote software to reflect the changes. USUALLY, if a change is made, the iPad app will disconnect and give a message that a change has been made and you need to restart the app. Not optimal during a live service, but that is how it works. I do not allow any changes to be made in the service after 9:50 am (our service starts at 10).

Furthermore, I have found it good to restart Proclaim on the main computer in the sanctuary (and Remote on the iPads we use) about 10 minutes before the service. When I forget and don't do this (like yesterday - ugh!), weirdness happens. The app can be flakey, not switch slides, or like yesterday (hadn't seen this before), Remote only showed the first slide of all multi-slide items (like songs or scripture readings). My normal tech people weren't here so I couldn't have the presentation restarted. What to do? Our iPads run in local mode (normally more solid), but my phone isn't . set up to do that. I ran the presentation on my phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) and got through the service ok. After the service I rebooted Proclaim on the main computer and my iPad connected just fine and showed all the slides. (Yes, I restarted the Remote app, and even shut down the iPad and restarted it and Remote - still didn't work until I rebooted Proclaim on the main worship computer).

I don't even try to do live edits. I WISH it could do that - that is, I wish Remote would allow you to add slides or scripture verses live both from the main computer AND from the Remote app, but it can't at this point.

Someone mentioned confidence monitors - I installed a 65" TV on the back wall of my sanctuary and it shows EXACTLY what's being projected on the screen above and behind me. My singers love it. I did it when COVID was hitting and I had just my worship team in the sanctuary and needed to know what was being displayed/streamed. Glad I have it.
