Faithlife Study Bible

I have started looking through my books and I came across "Faithlife Study Bible." It has a ton of pictures and graphics which I love.  I just wish there was a Catholic version of this Study Bible that would go along with Catholic Bibles so that I could use this as one of my main study go to books.

Any thoughts?

    Logos is so thoroughly evangelical that they often don't even see that they are evangelical. However, with tools such as their Study Bible, they do make an effort to be broadly academic. And for most of Bible study, the basic academics are denominationally neutral except for very specific instances. So go ahead and use the Faithlife Study Bible heavily - it will normally be a solid reference - and if you are a well informed Catholic, trust that you will recognize the few places where Catholics have significant differences with what they present. Brown in the introductory materials in Birth of the Messiah, has a good section on academic vs faith content.

    I wish it had the additional books that are in the "Catholic" version of the bible, they've done such an excellent job, their addition is very much missed by all.

    I find in the context of the forum, it is more effective to refer to the ecumenical canon of the RSV/NRSV/NRSVue which covers the Eastern Orthodox canon i.e. slightly more than the Catholic Bible. The reason for doing so is that many in the mainstream Protestant churches have moved to the ecumenical canon in practice if not in theory.
