I can't see my books from my new subscription.
I just got one of the new monthly subscriptions but maybe don't understand how it works. I don't see new books in my library. Will they download automatically or do I need to do something? I have restarted the app multiple times. I've not had problems before when buying new books, they download right away. The app is synced already as well.

They should download automatically - however, if you own a larger library, it may well be that you already own the books that came with the subscription. Are there any books you knew would be coming with your subscription and you are waiting for? What if you buy an arbitrary free book (such as from ebooks.faithlife.com or from general.ebooks.faithlife.com - both links should give unowned books ordered by price), does it download?

Yes, I did try that after you mentioned it but the app doesn't seem to do anything when I select that from the menu. Thanks

The number of books I am to receive with the subscription is larger than my present library so I should see a difference in my library. Maybe it will just take some time to see them come in.

If yuou open your library and using the filters on the left you can choose to see the resources added in the last 30 days and your subscription resources should show up there

Do you see the name of your subscription in the startup window after restarting Logos?
