Add dark mode to web app

Personally, I would recommend browser-wide solutions over a site-specific implementation. A browser extension can render all of your pages in dark mode. Try browser extensions like Midnight Lizard or Dark Reader. Both can be customized and even turn on automatically on a schedule or following system colors.

Never thought it possible, but I am sitting here at 2AM, not able to sleep, thought about getting some bible study in. Only to discover there still is no dark mode :-(

I'm a Dark Mode Onlyist (It's my official denomination). A dark mode for the web app would be extremely beneficial for my study when I'm on a machine other than the one my install is on.

Yes! I would rather use the web version than desktop because of my surface pro capabilities. Especially for getting devices that are lighter and smaller. Better to put the heavy lifting on ISP bandwidth instead of local machine. 

This would be a great feature. All my other web-apps are responsive and follow system settings and go into dark mode if system setting is changed.

DEFINITELY needed. I have an OLED screen, so dark mode saves much battery life! Hopefully, Logos will implement soon.

Should not be that difficult to add and would make the web app a more viable choice for many. Especially needed for macOS Sonoma's new "Add to dock" feature as it does not support dark mode extensions.

Is it possible to invert the colors on your content panels so that the resources appear with white text on a black background?  I have low vision, and this really helps me when I do it on my Kindle app, but don't see a way to do it in the online Verbum one. I really upvote this option!!

Please consider! I'm a new user and I love the versatility of this app. It's unfortunate that the web app doesn't offer a dark theme, but I understand that it is more to maintain. 

Reasons why this should be done:
- it should be low effort and low maintenance, basic CSS styling and a toggle to switch for the most part
- a browser extension does not touch the text screens, so not a practical solution; not a client-side fix
- requested for over 3 years, the feedback here just being top of the iceberg = high value
- based on product dev best practices, a low effort & high payoff feature should be high on the priority list
- low hanging fruits may be tempting but not necessarily sinful; this is a good thing , even if it's called 'dark mode'

I have made a dark mode for the Logos Web App, while we wait for the official release. You will have to install the Stylus browser extension to apply my CSS changes. After installing Stylus for your browser, go to the link below and click install.
