Please allow us to import sermons from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc. one at a time or in bulk and convert them into Logos sermon documents.

I would love this. All my sermons are in Pages.0

It would be an IMMEDIATE GREAT NEW FUNCTION!!!!0
-
Great suggestion. With 25+ years of sermons I've been waiting for this.0

Couldn't agree more! Logos already offers the option to convert a .docx file into a Personal Book, so being able to create a Sermon should be just as simple. Bulk import would be a massive plus!0

Yes, please! This would be amazing!0

Please do this!!!!0

Without this import feature I wouldn't want to use the Sermon Manager. I have many years of sermons in a system in Word. If I can't easily use in Logos what I have already written, then I wouldn't start using Logos for this.
Also there should be an export feature into at least a few common file types. That would make Logos much more helpful.0 -
I really like the idea of combining past sermons and future sermons into one application. However, as others have indicated, the inability to import many years of past sermons in a clean and simple way really puts me off using the Sermon Manager. For the time being I'll continue to save my sermons and Word documents and search them via tags.0

Absolutely, the XML framework should allow for this.0
-
I was about to post this as a suggestion. Being able to perform a search that will include previous sermons would be a great feature.0

I would be so much more inclined to build a sermon library in Logos (and enjoy the benefits that would come with that) if there was a simple import / export tool like what is described here. PLEASE make it happen! :)0

This would be a fantastic addition - I've got several years of sermons in Ulysees - so being able to import Markdown files or Epub into the Sermon Manager would be awesome0
-
AWESOME IDEA! I've been trying to figure out how to do this with personal books that are searchable in Passage Guide, but no sermon option for file. Thrilled to see this is planned!0

I'm new to Logos and interested in using Sermon Manager. But I have 25+ years of sermons in my digital files, and it doesn't make sense for me to manage 2 filing systems.0

I'd like to add to this suggestion to include PowerPoint explicitly. If each PowerPoint slide could be a Sermon document slide, that would be enough. If any "notes" associated with the slide in PowerPoint could become the Text associated alongside the Slide, that would be perfect. The transitions and animations in PowerPoint are why I use it instead of the Sermon Editor to create the presentation for class, but I can live without them for archiving the lesson for later reference in Logos.0

Umm...Yes please. I am new to Logos and still learning it but this seems to be something that shouldn't even be a question. I have been preaching for 30+ years and have many ( as in notebooks) of sermons saved as Word documents. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I understand wanting sermons "built" using the Logos word processor; but, the easier it is to utilize resources we have previously created means guys like me who are just now catching on would be more willing to give Logos a try. Just one pastors opinion. Thanks.0

Coming from a guy trying to get an older pastor to use Logos, this would be big for him.0

Most desirable addition0

Very useful addition0

The original Sermon file Addin that many purchased during the Libronix days worked quite well at importing our document files. It should have never been deprecated. Faithlife needs to look back to that addin for the basis of adding the functionality to the current Sermon tool0

This is a great idea!0
-
That would be wonderful0

I would like to be able to import pdf files. Sometimes I find something on my favorite pastors' pages that I want to keep and my computer downloads those pages as pdf files.0
-
I'd love to be able to import / paste my sermons in Markdown format.0
