Duplicate Pre-service loop to post-service

It would be nice to have a check box or something to apply all content in the pre-service loop to duplicate automatically into the post-service loop (or vice verse)

I don't want to have to remember to duplicate these items every time I change them - I would prefer for the option to be either 1) always keep them in sync, or 2) eliminate the pre/post and just have an Announcement Loop, or 3) have a GO TO Item (e.g. after the last slide, add a GO TO Announcement Loop section).

Appreciate the changes so far! I just realized today that changes I made to a slide in the preservice loop automatically changed in the post! Thank you!

@admin@gracechapelwl.org The Clone option works better than Duplicate for this. Change one, they all change.

Another solution I would love to see is an option to allow the pre/post loops to match a Digital Signage feed... that way notices are managed in a central place, with start/stop times, rather than each-and-every individual service.

Problem with Clone is that if there's a countdown timer applied to the item, that setting is also cloned, which looks silly if the item is cloned to the middle of the service or to the post-service loop. Need to simply not clone the countdown timer setting i'd say, or allow the timer to be set more specifically to "Sunday @ 10am" instead of just "10am"...

@Dean Poirier  I agree it would be nice if clone didn't include the timer. I think that is the 1 thing that most people would want in the pre-service loop but not anywhere else. Right now we sometimes have to change slides in the pre-service and post-service and it would be nice if we could clone them.

@Dean Poirier  I agree.  Clone to post-service loop would actually be useful if it didn't clone the countdown timer.

@Andy Bartels  - yes.  Cloning your entire Pre-Service loop to the Post-Service loop is the way I do it.  I build it in Pre then clone it to Post.  Every change I make in Pre is reflected in Post.  Works good for me.

@Dean Poirier  - You're right.  I never clone to mid-service Announcements time.  I Duplicate the slides for that purpose.  Allows me to make changes to the slide so it is more appropriate for that point in the service.
  • Yes please to clone use for slides with and without timer options.

I would love an easy way for the pre-service loop to be applied to new presentations. For example, when I import a Planning Center service into Proclaim, it'd be nice it the pre and post service slides were automatically duplicated from the previous week.

This can be achieved by selecting an item in the Pre-Service Loop, and using the "Clone to Post-Service" context menu item. When creating a clone, the items are 'linked' in such a way that any future edits made to one item will also automatically be applied to its clone.
