I couldn't agree more. I constantly go in and out of using Sermon builder for writing sermons. Many of the features are very helpful to have, but eventually I remember how annoying I find lack of markdown support and go back to something with it.
Also, there is a thread from 2017 with people requesting this feature. Someone from Faithlife responded saying they were looking into it and would update their response in "a couple of weeks," but 4 years later I haven't seen an update.

I discovered Markdown three years ago and now use it for everything I write. I would like for Logos to give me the ability to import my sermons as well as notes and personal documents from Markdown files. I left Word when I discovered Google Docs in 2008. I have since moved transitioned away from Google Docs to Markdown.
I just came here to suggest this. Glad someone beat me to it!
But it looks like this is a few years old already.
@Mark Barnes (Logos), any ideas if/when this could happen?!
