Guides: Open in parallel panel the links from the Passage guide

When I make a partition of the screen in two panels I want to have in the left one the Passage guide and when I touch one link I want it to open in the right panel. If after that I touch other link in the left panel, the new book must open in the right panel replacing the previous one. In this way I allways see the Passage Guide and the book/dictionary/whatever in the other panel, side by side. In this moment I cannot link the Passage guide with anything at its side.

This is greatly needed. If I want to read multiple commentaries or resources on a passage it keeps opening multiple screens that I have to flip through. Connecting the split screen eliminates this making your studies much more efficient0

I agree with this need. Olive tree resource guide does this and works well. Please logos, don't make us open 15 screens to see the passage guide drill down content.0

How did you get a side by side panel. iOS only has up and down (layout) panels.0

This would be a great improvement. Just as in e.g. a lectionary, it should be possible to tap-and-hold on a reference / commentary; and than should appear a context menu where you can make your choice: open in new tab / open in right section. And when the screen is divided, the standard action should be: open in right section (or left when passage guide is on the right).0

Wow, this would be amazing. My use case is leading Wednesday night discussion groups. During the lesson, I like to open Passage Guide on my iPad just to do a little bit of reading on the points the teacher makes. However, I end up with a bunch of scattered resources and all the movement on my iPad screen (zooming in and out, scrolling left and right, etc.) is distracting to people around me. If one panel just kept getting updated as I tapped resources, this would be excellent and much more discreet in the public setting. It'd also just be much more efficient for sermon prep at home.
In fact, I would probably do a triple split with my Bible and Passage Guide each in quarters, and then the commentary on the other half--with all three panels linked for reference scrolling. I would love this setup!0 -

It would also be helpful to have the Bible on the left panel, and to have any supporting resource open on the right panel (reusing the same right panel for newer clicks) including any passage guide, Bible word study, exegetical guide, fact book etc. When I click a link in the right panel, it opens in the same right panel, then I use a back button to get back to the passage guide, Bible word study etc. This way, I can keep the Bible on the left panel at all times whilst browsing and reading supportive resources.0

I also think that Logos has better management of where windows should open. Currently there is no kind of standard. This is just another example of that.
