My pastor is one of those that is always reading way past the verses he has called out for us to look up. It's very difficult to hurry and look up the next few verses to keep up with him. He's always several verses ahead of me by the time I get them on the screen and then I have to start all over.

Add a next verse and previous verse button to the on screen Bible. This would make it easy to follow along with a speaker if a passage wasnt preloaded into the set

When the Pastor goes to a scripture that is off script. I use the on screen bible. I request two item that will improve this feature
    1. The drop down that pops up include an option that includes that verse and extend to the end of the chapter.
    2. The on screen bible have an option to select the Bible version.

At our church, our pastor flows. He's not a very structured pastor, so when he quickly needs a scripture, the process to go to that scripture, then to the next, and so on is way too slow. Having the Bible like in EasyWorship will help us flow with the pastor better.

Proclaim absolutely needs this. The current on screen Bible is the only thing that is stopping our Churches moving to Proclaim. We need the ability to quickly display verses in different versions. Also, our Pastor will frequently tell us to go to a bible verse, but will read beyond that. Proclaim does not allow us to adapt. Everything else about Proclaim is great for us but we can't make the switch with the current on screen Bible.

Proclaim needs to provide a fix for this as it is major flaw in the on screen bible.  The fix should include a feature to view the specified scripture and extended to the end of the chapter, because the Pastor will often specify an off "script scripture" and then continue on.  And the other is to allow selection of the bible version.

Also, we need the option for full line-break formatting for Poetry passages, (Psalms, Proverbs, the prophets, etc). Block-style paragraph format simply doesn't work for this, it's very hard to follow.

The other style of bible display supports this, but not the on-screen bible.

This is the BIGGEST thing I miss from EasyWorship.  We need to be able to start at a verse and display an undetermined number of additional verses.

    This is absolutely needed!
  • I would really like this. Right now, we have to switch to EasyWorship when we get to the sermon, but I wish we could use Proclaim. Switching to EasyWorship means we can't use the built-in recording feature for Proclaim, we have to use OBS instead. But using Proclaim would mean not having Scriptures on screen in time when the preacher references verses on the fly, and it's more important to have the Scriptures up for those who can't see their Bible as well as they can see the screen.

Done! We now show a NextVerse button under the slide preview. Currently it works for Bible Passage items and we will be bringing it to On-Screen Bible shortly.

  • Woohoo!! 🥳 I just tried it, and although it takes a second to add the verse then select it for display, it works, and it'll be a huge help! Do you know if the feature to "quick-lookup and display" verses like in EasyWorship will be added?

@Clarke Vennerbeck  I'm also hoping the quick-lookup and display features will be added. Also the ability to quickly change the Bible version like you can do in Worship Tools Presenter.
