I would love to be able to use the counseling guide on mobile. As a hospital chaplain, I usually do not have time to access a computer before a visit, but I do have access to my phone. A Counseling Guide on mobile would be a game changer as I could quickly review resources and ideas before an encounter.

Please add a new Counseling Guide that allows us to study counseling-related topics and find relevant passages of Scripture and articles from counseling resources in our library.

Is this intended to include spiritual direction/spiritual friendship type counseling?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

@mjespuiva-86 Yes. We'd want it to be broad enough to be of help to professional counselors with their patients, pastors with their members, parents with their children, and one Christian with another.
  • I concur, as a Hospice Chaplain it would be invaluable for me to be able to search the counseling guide while bedside while I help my patients and their families explore the emotions and struggles they are experiencing. It is extremely rare I have someone in my office where I could use the desktop program, but in patient rooms, patient homes, and in lobbies I have my phone and iPad with me.

Adding the counseling guide to the mobile app would be extremely helpful for outdoors ministry because it will provide helpful resources out in the field. The wide availability of tablets and mobile devices makes sense to have this guide added as a tool to the mobile app. While it is helpful in the office, I feel that it would be more helpful outside the office on my iPad.

Add counseling guide to mobile app, most pastors aren't setting at their desks in crisis. Having access to the guide from our phones or tablet will be handy.
  • Following up on this one year later.  Still hoping for this feature to roll out in the mobile app.
When I'm in the home or in a facility visiting a patient in crisis, it would be a game-changer to be able to use this desktop function in the field.
    Hopefully this gets rolled out.

    Bendiciones

It would be nice to use the counseling guide for quick reference in counseling sessions on the iPad.
  • Sounds good to me!
