I have identified this problem in Hoffner, Harry A., Jr. 1 & 2 Samuel. Edited by H. Wayne House and William Barrick. Evangelical Exegetical Commentary. Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2015. The entire series should be reviewed.

@Kyle G. Anderson (Faithlife) You are correct. My apologies. I was thrown by the mix of series vs. individual books of a series as the unit in the left column. I didn't spend enough time sorting it out.
