Please restore former format

This update is abysmal. The inability to input the LN number is one of several changes made with the latest update, which unfortunately makes access more difficult instead of easier. Another change I do not appreciate much is the high degree of difficulty in accessing the search page. Additionally, not being able to input the reference needed on the Bible page is a big step backwards in usefulness. In short this update has made using this resource less efficient. Please consider restoring the last format. Many thanks.

I could not find a way to edit my first comment so I am posting a follow up amendment:
Pardon my harsh and hasty words, please allow me to rephrase the first sentence with the following:
I do not find this new update user friendly.
  • I also do not find the new format user friendly. The app always used to tell me what book, chapter and verse I am on. Not only was this really helpful in showing me exactly where I left off last time I closed the app, but I also used it to show my husband, who is very hard of hearing, where we are when in Bible class. Now I have to write it down or try to tell him without disrupting class. Please change it back so that it clearly displays the book, chapter and verse at the top.

@Gina Short  –  the old behavior, which allowed you to enter a reference using the keyboard, is still available by clicking the search button next to the reference box.

@Judy Headrick  –  if the reference box and other UI are hidden, you can restore it by tapping right at the top of the screen where the name of the current book is shown. We'll be improving that behavior on a future version of the app.
  • @Mark Barnes (Logos)  OK. I see the problem. I loaded Logos on my work phone, which is an iPhone 15 and I can see the scripture reference there. My personal phone is an iPhone SE, which has a smaller screen. The scripture reference does not show up on the iPhone SE's smaller format when in portrait mode. It does show up in landscape mode, though (don't know why I didn't figure that out sooner!) Now that I've got that sorted, I'm good.
