Web App -> Desktop App hotlink support

Request for a “Web App -> Desktop App” hotlink. I have a Libery University class that provides textbook access through the Logos Web App. I would prefer reading it through the Mac Desktop App.
As a work around, it would be very helpful if there were a link in each book, (like on the Book Info page), that would allow me to open the book in the Desktop App… but it would need to open to the currently opened page/chapter, rather than just opening the book like I have to do now manually.

The Share > Copy link menu item will create a link that can be loaded in the desktop application to open that resource to the current location.0
