I agree with this big time! But for what it is worth I have found that if I turn off the copy citations button on the desktop, then when I copy and paste a verse, it does just show the reference.
Does the Copy Bible Verse tool not work for your desired outcome? You can customize the output and I have one that include the Reference in a format I like and does not include footnotes, citations, etc. - Just the Scripture and its Reference

I miss the ability to enter a passage and click Go for the Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, etc. I'd love to see a return to it.
I am a layperson that work with Proclaim. I think it would be nice to have more than one date open at the same time. That way you don't have to keep opening and closing each day if you need to copy something from one day to the next. Just saying it would make things a little easier on everyone. Thank you.
