Just a note about what I found out the hard way….

I bought a new computer, fired it up and started putting my stuff on it. Eventually, I came to Logos and went through the installation process… BUT I could not sign into Logos. I tried everything I knew, but could not sign in. That was yesterday.

Today, I noticed my time and date was wrong, so I corrected it. This seems odd to me, but when I tried to sign into Logos after that, Logos worked??? Go figure???

So if you can't sign into Logos on a new computer, make sure your date and time are right! 😎

Have a look at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008567331-Problems-with-Logos-Setup-or-Updating-Logos and see if any of the suggestions there help.

I've normally bought computers with Intel processors. My previous one was an Intel i7. Still got it and love it, it works good. But this time I bought an AMD 9 Ryzen processor. I didn't run specs but this AMD blows my Intel out of the water! Amazingly fast! And a lot cheaper! 😎

AMD has eaten more than a little of Intel's lunch. Glad you like your new machine.

As weird as it seems, verifying that time stamps are reasonably accurate is an important security measure. It keeps a malicious person from copying your packets and using them to impersonate you later and means that your computer knows that the security certificates you are getting are not expired but hiding behind a broken clock. Lots of things will fail if the clock is way off.
