Can someone suggest a book(s) re: the origins of the invitation system?
mm.
Murray's 44 pager going fore $34.00 and Bennett's going for $164. A tad too much for too little and a lot too much for the other.
Thanks though.
The Invitation System by Murray, Iain H.
The Altar Call: The Origins and Present Usage by David Bennett
Amazon blurb for the latter:
The Altar Call is a thorough examination of the public invitation practice within Christian evangelism. In addition to giving a comprehensive historical background that spans three continents, The Altar Call also poses the following question: If John Wesley, George Whitefield , and Jonathan Edwards are regarded as the great figures of modern evangelicalism, why did none of these important leaders practice the invitation system that became so important in so many later evangelical groups? This important study will be of interest to both religious scholars and lay people, who are curious about the antecedents, development, and current use of the altar call.

What map book shows all the New Testament places quickly and easily? Syrian Phoenicia was hard to find. As was Magadan.
I am working on something complicated, so I decided to create a temporary layout since it was getting so crunched working with only one layout open. However, when I did so, I accidentally clicked "update active." 😧 Is there any way to undo that?
Good morning, Does someone know if we can create a collection with personal books ? Main objective is not to facilitate searching between these books, but to group some books in a collection to permit to add one book of the collection in a window, to set a synch group and to have the other books of the same collection…
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Good Morning Rick Might I be able to inquire from you the status of these videos that have been in PrePub since 2023? There are French versions already available but not English versions. English Product: French Product: I'll also direct you to a related idea here if you can make that happen:
I would like to add a note (not an entire notebook) to a favorites folder. I can add a notebook to favorites by clicking the star icon but I just want a specific note within that notebook, not the whole notebook. Is there a way to do that?
