I have often said I would like to see better formatting in Sermons.. and I realized today that I have never relayed what I meant by that. So here's my try at correcting that. The formatting I am talking about is as follows: (I am sure others will add their thoughts also as I don't see my thoughts as being end all to end all - lol)
- I would like to better colors of words when I chose to color words. I run in "Dark Mode" most of the time. In "Dark Mode" say I color words to "yellow" to have them show up more readily, when I am speaking or teaching. The Green, the Red, the Blue just don't work. They are so "pastel looking" that they just don't stand out in "Dark Mode" and as such are almost useless in my opinion. Yellow does work, being more vibrant than the others, but still not as vibrant as it is in Notes.
- So I would suggest changing the colors in Sermons to at least match the colors that are used in other places of the Logos program, like Highlighting and Notes. This would be very helpful to people like me that use "Dark Mode"
- I don't know if there is a way to accomplish this but….. I would like to see the "Slides" in Sermons take up less of the real estate that does now. The slide itself takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 of the real estate that Sermons use. When I get my layout of 3 vertical panes that I am working with, Bibles, Sermons, study aids, then the real estate for Sermons becomes important and with the slide taking up 1/4 of it, compacts the rest of the text.
- I might suggest something like…. a smaller Slide, and being able to "click on the slide" to pop up a screen to work on the slide presentation itself. That way the text of the Sermon could have more horizontal space and have more text on a line.
I know these are not "barn burning" thoughts. But I do think these would enhance Sermons quite a bit. 😎
