My page has tags down the side not on top. I don't have a home page button. the first tag is the dashboard.
Welcome to the forums @Dwight Allmon. In Program Settings, you can determine the location of the Application Toolbar to be either on the left side or on the top side of the screen. It is correct that Dashboard is the first icon. You may have seen an outdated video showing "Home", but this has since been replaced by Dashboard. Do you have any further questions?
For example all the on-line videos show the tool bar at the top of the page mine is still at the left hand side.
Which videos are you looking at. Most of the ones at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us show the toolbar on the left.
But as Aaron pointed out you can choose whether the toolbar is at the top or on the left so it isn't an indication of whether your installation (or the videos) are using the most recent software.
Your screenshot shows very recent software so I expect you are up to date.
To check this, you can click the three dots icon at the bottom left of your screen. In the menu that pop up you will see an item called About Logos. Click that and you will get a panel that shows, among other things, the version of software you are using.
Yes, I've noted that a number of the training aides are out of date. Some of them are very confusing when looking at the current version. For example all the on-line videos show the tool bar at the top of the page mine is still at the left hand side.
I still can't tell if I'm at the current level of software or not.

I have a couple of books that always crash Logos. I read the books a while ago and created Notes while reading, but if I try to go to the Note anchors in the books in question, Logos crashes. Same if I try to open them in the Library. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
MPS teaches that we should put a one volume commentary that covers the whole Bible in the short cuts bar. That way we can easily access the commentaries without opening a guide. We can then go from one to another. I have JFB in the short cuts bar. I have an English and a Greek text opened to I John 2:5. I clicked on JFB…
Hi, Windows 10 Pc. I just replaced had hard drive replaced and new updated version of windows 10. The repair shop lost all my home screen icons and shortcuts. I know that there is a script that can be run that will clean up the database. Can someone show me how to clean up and decrease the database size?
I am reading Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem. There are a gazillion Bible verse references in blue. If I click on them, they of course open in my Bible of choice, and I could copy and paste them into a note. But is there a way to get that reference to copy directly into a note, without doing a copy and paste?
