Beta 3 - will it find my new resources.

Early this morning, very excitedly, I downloaded my new purchase - Christian History and Biography Magazine!  Wow!

Can find everything in Logos 3 - then I synchronised with Logos &  backed up my licenses.

Then shut down and opened both Logos 3 and Logos 4 - Beta 3 - a number of times (5 or 6) to get Logos 4 to find and make available my new resources.  Have been using both for much of the day....

My efforts have failed - I'm sure it will happen, though, one of these days ...     *smile*

However, it is just past 8:30 p.m. Easter Standard Time.  I'd like it to index - since that takes such a long time - while I'm sleeping.

Does anyone know how to make that happen?

*smile*

If the resources are in your regular L3 resource path, L4 should discover them. However if not you can always type in the command bar:

    scan C:\path\to\new\files

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Thanx, Thomas!  Peace and Joy to you!

That (scan C:\path\to\new\files)   didn't work...    but  ...    I'll be patient and hopefully it will find my new files ...

It found my Ariel's when I purchased that  ....      Wait  ....    just realised    ...      I synchronised my licenses with Logos from Logos 3   -  Maybe "in the cloud" will mesh when I restart it ...           just closed Logos 4          .........    now reopening it .........      Now!    *smile*   It's preparing my libary   ....   Success, I think!?!

Will be a success if it indexes overnight!

    Thank you muchly ....

    Yours in Christ,

    Mel.

Yay!  Welcome to index-land where all your CPU processes find a happy and useful role in preparing future searches.
