Add The Cost of Discipleship as a book on Logos, and not just an audiobook.
@Levi Mayo A link to the Audiobook would help for others to understand what product this is about.
This book is in Logos twice: as volume 4 of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Works https://www.logos.com/product/39939/dietrich-bonhoeffer-works-vol-4-discipleship?queryId=69103904a48b0ef8acd0849a24da66d7 and as a stand-alone Reader's Edition. https://www.logos.com/product/162882/discipleship?queryId=f574ce2e14b03d10ed76f1fe81be0a5d Other than the audio book, they both have the shorter title "Discipleship"
@NB.Mick Thank you!
@NB.Mick I am not talking about his work on Discipleship, I am talking about the book, "The Cost of Discipleship." Here is the audiobook.
I am talking about having this book as a resource and not just an audiobook.
Levi, this book (in German titled "Nachfolge") has been published in English sometimes under the title "discipleship" and sometimes under the title "The Cost of Discipleship". It's the exact same book - possibly even the same translation - just with another title. There are no two different books about discipleship by Bonhoeffer, there is only one and this is it.
@NB.Mick Actually, there are two different books. The Cost of Discipleship is all a commentary on the Book of Matthew and how Bonhoeffer views Matthew as a way to show what discipleship is and what the cost of it is. Discipleship as the book is Bonhoeffer's entire writing on the issue of discipleship and is part of a set of different books.

@Levi Mayo : I still am curious why you would think there are two books. The audio book in Logos even says on its product page that the text edition would be vol. 4 of DBW!
I was tempted to buy the audio just to make sure, but on German Amazon I found the same audio book with a sample audio, which contained the front matter. This states that Paul Michael is reading the 1959 MacMillan edition, copyrighted by SCM Press. This edition can be found as PDF on the web (yes, the audio sample reads this word for word), and the full front matter in the PDF explicitly states that it is a translation of Bonhoeffers 1937 work "Nachfolge", published by Chr. Kaiser, Munich.
The Logos edition of DBW4 "Discipleship" (which by the way is the identical text as the "Discipleship Reader's Edition" in Logos) has the following front matter:

More references to that book having been published under the title "The Cost of Discipleship" are in the editorial preface as well as in the section "Chronology of Discipleship". The Logos edition is the same book with the same content - however, it's a different translation as the 1959 edition.
I apologize. I did not realize both were the same book. I thought it was a different book than "The Cost of Discipleship." I apologize and thank you for correcting my error.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086YKYC1N? only Genesis. Exodus, and Deuteronomy are currently available. Read the commentary on the first chapter of Exodus to see how and why this would be a significant addition to the commentaries we have in Logos. I will admit it took me a bit to get beyond the title of this series. Amazon…
I have found that the tagging of the Logos Peshitta has never been checked for silly mistakes. It was obviously tagged by an algorithm or AI. Consider the verses below in which the word ܚܽܘܒܴ݁ܐ was tagged as "debt; liability; wrong" instead of "love": For example, 1 John 4:7: 'My beloved, let us love one another for ?debt;…
Does Faithlife/Logos have any plans to update the text of the ESV in Logos? Crossway recently put out an updated 2025 text that fixes (in my opinion) some translation issues in Genesis 3 and 4, as well as in John 1:18. There are other changes as well that have been well-received. You can view that update here:…
I found a mistake in this resource as shown below. It should have included the most common Hebrew equivalent גדעון:
Good evening, Please consider adding the various Rational Bible commentaries (Genesis through Numbers) by Mr. Dennis Prager. I have the hard copies but it would be great to be able to reference Mr. Prager's thoughts from the Jewish perspective! Thank you for considering! Chris
