And here's how Smart Bible Search would treat List the bible verses where God says that He will not hear someone's prayer.
Of the verses @Top8305 was looking for, it returned all of them except Proverbs 1:28 and Job 35:12, and includes many more that NTSK omits.
We've still got some work to do before this feature is ready for beta testing, but I'm excited by its potential.
New feature (v36): Smart Search Synopsis
Smart Synopsis helps you find quick answers to your question with an AI-generated synthesis of the most relevant Logos resources in Smart Search. Unlike ChatGPT or Google, Smart Synopsis includes footnotes to Logos books, so you can easily check its accuracy.
Smart Synopsis requires an active subscription for Logos Premium or higher, and is available in software version 36.0 or above on all platforms.
FAQs
1. Why am I seeing results from books I don't have a license for?
"All Search" always searches every book available in the Logos catalog, in an attempt to provide the most-relevant possible information. If you prefer to search only your books, please use Smart Search in the Books search tab.
2. How can I get a Synopsis from only some of my books?
In Books search, set the books or collection you want search, and make sure that Smart Search is selected as the search engine.
3. Does Smart Synopsis cost anything?
Smart Synopsis is included at no additional cost for all subscribers to Logos Premium or higher. Using Smart Synopsis deducts AI Credits from your monthly limit of AI feature usage.
4. Is it safe to use AI in Bible study?
Yes—with discernment. With Smart Synopsis, we've taken pains to select an AI model that accurately summarizes results from Logos books, provides a citation for each source, and openly lets you know when it can't find a good answer for your query. Read more about our AI philosophy.
KNOWN ISSUE
Citations for some encyclopedia article are not properly formatted, according to SBL Handbook of Style, Second Edition (but they do still link to the correct article). This has been fixed internally, and will ship in a later software version.

- I can't make a note with the entire content of the smart search. (THIS is the most important and most glaring weakness)
- I can't copy the entire results of the smart search.
- I can't print/export the entire results of the smart search.
I just wanted to chime in and say that Synopsis is an incredible feature! This is a perfect example of how AI can be used ethically and intelligently in an academic setting.
My ONE bit of feedback, as some others have mentioned, is I think there really should be a way to continue the conversation, much like how you can in ChatGPT and others. There should be an option to open up a chat "window", which continues to draw information from your library.
Apart from that, this is such a great feature. I know some may say people should do it the "Old fashioned way", but times change. When leveraged properly, tools like Synopsis can save hours and hours of mundane combing through books when trying to find relevant information. With this, we can be taken straight to the relevant info, and put more precious time into actually performing the task. Well done Logos!
NoGO: Provide list of Bible verses referencing the Name of God and or the Name of Jesus
Why doesn't Smart Search provide the list of verses that reference God's Name or Jesus' Name? What am I missing or doing wrong, please?
Question, in Bible searches from the Books Tab (there doesn't appear to be a Smart Search option in the Bible Tab), will Smart Search utilize metadata and interlinear data?
Would the highest tier, Max, subscription provide the answer - a complete list of verses referencing the Name of God and or the Name of Jesus?

Good day. My program settings for double-click should be irrelevant. My point is that the Platform should not use A.I. credit as a default because it is at cost and the subscriber should have command and control over when and how it is employed. Whatever any preference is, A.I. credit usage should not be automatic, but chosen, because it is at cost.

Brother, when I double-click on a text to conduct a Look-up function, the Platform automatically performs an A.I. Search, using a credit from my monthly credits, BY DEFAULT (i.e. automatically regardless of whether I want to perform an A.I. Search at credit cost or not.). The subscriber should be able to choose A.I. credit-charging Search or a regular Precise Search, or configure one's Preference in Program Settings.
Sorry, if that wasn't clear.

The screenshots show that the search was performed in Precise mode. I'm not sure why that was. Did you get any indication you were in Precise mode? Have you run out of AI credits, perhaps?
In Smart mode, you would have seen something like this:
@Top8305 Brother, when I double-click on a text to conduct a Look-up function, the Platform automatically performs an A.I. Search,
The double-click "Look-up function" performing a Search does not make sense. My double-click does what it says in Program Settings (i.e. a Look-up) and I have to perform a Triple-click for a Search.
On opening, your Search panel may perform a Smart Search (I don't know), but if you switch to Precise it will use that mode thereafter. I recommend you have a Search panel as part of your layout.

Good day Mark,
I ran the query twice in A.I. mode (in "ALL" Tab) which the little Icon indicates. As for my Credits, I have a MAX subscription with 4 queries run for the month. What indicates to you that the q-run was a precise run?
Thanks for the tip to run from my Library ("Books" Tab) and not from "ALL" Tab; the results answers the question, along with balderdash hits - but the answers are there. Thanks for the training!

It looks like a precise search because the results indicate the search engine is returning any articles where all the words you included in the search field are present.
It does not seem to be doing any analysis on those results to return the most relevant, which a Smart Search should
I agree with this. Having more flexibility with how the AI Smart Search works would be great. An ability to ask follow up questions, options to have it include a greater number of resources in its response, longer responses, all would be very valuable options. And, an option to increase the number of "AI Credits" or purchase additional packs of them beyond the monthly allotment that comes with the subscriptions would be great, because I make significant use of this feature.
I would also add that I have only been using Logos for about 6 months, but this feature alone has been extremely powerful when writing research papers for school and has saved me countless hours of manual searching for specific information on various topics.
Pro Subscription. Ver 40.2
Smart Search in "Your Books" for Entire Sanctification. This gives me the results I'm looking for, but then it will not print it out. In addition, I tried the Copy option and only get the synopsis text but not the sources listed in the synopsis.
My opinion is that this feature is basically useless. I can't make a note with the entire content of the smart search. I can't copy the entire results of the smart search. I can't print the entire results of the smart search. Please tell me what good this feature is? What is it intended to provide?
Aha! Changing that setting fixed the problem.
Now, is there a way to do any of the following? These abilities would change the Smart Search from a sparkly doo-dad into a useful tool:
I can't make a note with the entire content of the smart search. (THIS is the most important and most glaring weakness)
Can you specify exactly what you mean by this? I'm able to click the "Copy" button and paste the Smart Synopsis (and all citations into a Note easily; see blue highlight below).
Or are you talking about copying 50+ search previews (red highlight) into a Note?
