We used to have this feature! Why was it taken away? This is a non-negotiable for a reading app. Please, please, please faithlife, get this fixed!

One question is how to calculate the percentage. It should be calculated based on the essential text, and leaving notes, indexes etc. out. How to calculate pages with footnotes?

I really don't care how that's handled. However kindle handles it is fine with me. Or some other way. I just need some clear indication of where I'm at and how I'm progressing.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I'm used to having this feature in Kindle, and I miss it. I use it for two main things:
- Track my overall progress through a book (on Goodreads).
- Decide whether to push through and finish the chapter I'm in based on how much time that would take, or whether to start a new chapter based on how long it it.
