I'd like to keep track of how much of a book I've read, similar to the way Kindle does. Kindle can show a percentage of the book I've read, Page X of Y, X minutes left in chapter, or X hours and Y minutes left in Book. This wouldn't be useful for books that are primarily used for reference, but it would be nice for books that are read straight through.

We used to have this feature! Why was it taken away? This is a non-negotiable for a reading app. Please, please, please faithlife, get this fixed!

One question is how to calculate the percentage. It should be calculated based on the essential text, and leaving notes, indexes etc. out. How to calculate pages with footnotes?

I really don't care how that's handled. However kindle handles it is fine with me. Or some other way. I just need some clear indication of where I'm at and how I'm progressing.
