Citation reference at the beginning of the verse is gone

Hi, I have just learned that the new version 40 of Logos now includes the verse address after the verse. In all previous versions the verse has been at the beginning of the verse. I cut and paste extensively for writing projects and this new change is creating much more work for me.
Is it possible to add an option to include the citation at the beginning of the verse, instead of at the end?

the new formatting for copying and pasting Bible verses to an external app leaves much to be desired. I need the old format, which was much more usable when doing sermon prep. The mobile app has very limited options for formatting copying and pasting of Bible verses. It used to look like this:
Roman’s 12:2 (NLT) - 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
now it looks like this:
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2, NLT)
please bring it back.

From the release notes:
We’ve added full citation functionality. You can change the citation style in Settings located in the More menu.
Do you need o change your citation style setting?

Thank you. I should have included that. I'm running it on mobile devices — an ipad and an iphone.
It still pasted with the citation at the beginning on the iMac desktop.0 -
Hello, I have the same concern as Pastor Allen. I think the issue specifically occurs while the"Use short format for Bibles" setting is turned. Previously, the copied text would be pasted in the order of [reference-scripture]. Now, the pasted citation occurs [scripture-reference].
This formatting order is unrelated to citation style selection whenever the "Use short format for Bibles" is turned on. Maybe if we could have the option to have a setting which allows us to choose to copy the reference before or after scripture? Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. We moved to this format when we added academic citation styles (for all books, not just Bibles) to the Logos Mobile app. In these settings (and, I think, most others), it's typical to put the reference at the end of the citation, not the beginning. I can understand that in some instances, perhaps especially in verbal communication, putting the reference first might be more helpful.
Please vote on this suggestion if having the reference before the text of the verse is something that you would prefer.

Yes, I vote on this suggestion to place the reference before the text of the verse or at least give us the option to decide for ourselves.

I think having the option to choose would be best as many will have different preferences, but if I had to choose, I'd rather it be at the beginning.

Ditto. Either put it first (so you can see at a glance what you just copied) or provide an option in settings.

I've used the Logos app for many years but the recent changes to the copy and paste feature are quite problematic. I've been in vocational ministry for more than 50 years and when speaking most always give the scripture reference before reading a text. The new format presents the reference AFTER the sited text. I honestly can't think of a time when I've read a scripture then communicated, "This can be found in Matthew..."
Please consider a revision of this option for those of us who primarily are given to speaking and/or preaching

Yes. Please move the Bible citation to the beginning where it always was. I have to cut it copy it and paste now when before it was so perfect please go back to the original or give us the option. This is for iOS iPhone iPad, etc..
