Logos API and integration to other apps

I usually take notes in Obsidian, my sermons, classes and notes are all in there in a beautiful system. I also use Zotero for adding citations and I prefer there as not only journals, but websites, books, blogs are all catalogued for years. However, after I bought Logos I have been wondering how would it be amazing if I could write my notes on markdown in Logos too. By doing so, I would be able to Connect knowledge in books and notes throughout my systems.

Are there any plans for Logos to add that to the app?

I am a big fan of contextual computing, and Logos as good as it is, can be a bit of a walled garden. For me, this is a bit of a downer because I have invested a lot into my library. With that said, there are workarounds, albeit at times with a bit of friction in your workflow.

I would be surprised if there is a major rewrite of the notes system in Logos any time soon, but it would be worth asking the question at one of Mark Barnes' webcasts that he does about every six weeks.

I would love to see Readwise Reader integration at the very least and I would be hopeful that this would not involve as much work, but it is likely not simple.

Also, the ability to create links back to Logos from other apps in notes. As we do this, I would love to see Logos interact with an app like HookMark. I advocated for this in the recent move to ref.ly links, but it did not make the scope of work.

If you search the forum, you will find some threads from Obsidian users. Here's something I posted a while back to explain where all of my information comes from in my personal knowledge management system. Logos is a huge pillar, but it is not the only pillar. I also need to modify this to accommodate my increasing use of ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Hello! I've started using Logos and really enjoyed it, and so I started working on building a plug-in for connecting logos and obsidian.

I think a lot of this support is simpler to do in an obsidian environment (where we have more control/personalization based on your note taking) than trying to bring the markdown and obsidian style to logos.

I currently have it submitted to the obsidian github so this can become an official plugin, but for the time being you can use the brat plugin to install the logos-ref plugin I've developed while we are waiting for the obsidian devs to make this official! PLEASE PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS PLUGIN! Go to the issues tab of the github page and leave suggestions.
