Clippings from print books

I get clippings was designed for logos books. However, having a large print book collection, it would be nice to add quotes from my print books to my clippings files to use later in the same way as the others.

Also would love to hear other work arounds for this.

I would love to see this too. I read a lot of stuff that's not available on Logos (books, articles, etc.) that has content that would be useful for future teaching and preaching, and I want a centralized place to store what I find. Clippings seems like a natural place for it, since I'm already using Logos for sermon prep and the ability to tag and add personal notes to Clippings is useful. But it's annoying that all Clippings must be linked to a Logos resource. (Logos compares Clippings to index cards. I'd like them to offer a blank index card instead of requiring every index card to have bibliographic information by default).

My primary workaround for this so far is to create a Clipping from a random Bible passage then delete the original content and copy and paste in whatever I want to save. But it's not an ideal process.
