Two questions:
Ignatius Catholic Study Bible | Available Fall 2024
the product page for the NT is still up: https://www.logos.com/product/56708/ignatius-catholic-study-bible-the-new-testament (linked from the RSV2CE page, no longer for sale), but it seems the individual OT books are gone.
@NB.Mick the OT books are not gone - the original release of hard copy and the Logos version werejust the NT. However, last fall Ignatius updated and now sells a Study Bible of OT and NT. It's available in Hard Copy, Logos/Verbum has never sold that one - my question is that I am wondering if it is coming out soon?
Is there a Catholic Logos product manager these days that I/we can tag?
At least some of the OT books used to be available in Logos/Verbum - besides the NT I actually own five OT-treating books of type:"Study Bible" authored by Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch in the series:"The Ignatius Catholic Study Bible" (Genesis; Exodus; Job; Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song; Daniel}.
Yeah that's part of a series of study bibles - I have them too. I am referring to the single volume study bible that is now out, adding the OT to the first version of the single volume which was the NT only. This is what the new book looks like - single volume:
There has been a significant influx of Ignatius Press books that are available for pre-publication order. I’m wondering if this is a sign that books from Ignatius Press, hopefully including these Study Bible commentaries, will become available soon.
I inquired with Ignatius press about the publication of the Old Testament volumes of their study Bible and they said that several of them were never produced as e-books. I wonder if they will bundle them all up and release them here on Verbum/Logos.
Has anyone created a personal book yet of Pope Francis' final encyclical Dilexit Nos? I think it may be ten years before Logos catches up with Francis' works and am wondering if someone else has saved us the effort.
As far as I know it has never been on sale. Its main competitor, Anchor Bible Dictionary is cheaper and even included in libraries. Meanwhile NIDB remains very expensive and unaffordable. I wonder how well it actually sells. Time to approach Abingdon to negotiate a deal on this title?
2 questions. Does Logos or anyone know of or have a Modern Greek Translation recommendation? Does Logos or anyone know of or have a Modern Greek Translation with a NT Greek Interlinear I am taking a modern Greek class and think it would be interesting to have.
Anyone familiar with this Systematic series, called We Believe. There is currently 3 volumes available on Logos. Want to know if someone has read some and can give advice if its worth adding.
Is anyone familiar with this bundle? It states it comes with a custom workflow but no workflow is listed in the contents.
