It would be very helpful to show the verses in Bible texts that I have included in my script. When I talk about it with my group, I need to be able to refer to the specific verse.

Unfortunately, this is happening too often with the forum software.
You need to clarify this (what script?) and specify your OS and version of Logos. It is also likely that this is a Suggestion that should belong in the Logos and Verbum Suggestions forum.
I mean my text in the Bible study tool. I work on Mac or on iPad, but that makes no difference.
In Windows, Logos v.42, I can type a bible reference:-
If I select Insert Inline verse 21 will be included as with John 3:16.
