I am using Android Logos v40.0.0. When I opened a timeline picture (e.g. The Life of Abraham) in FSB Infographics, it appeared in very low resolution. Reading the text inside the picture is impossible.
I have added the Bug tag here, as this is less than ideal experience from our application and the media here. The team will review the bug and triage it appropriately. Thank you for escalating this for us.
Are you able to provide us with a screenshot of what you are seeing, @Wan Lung, Lee?
Hi @Jason Stone (Logos) , not sure if this is helpful but I noticed that when you save the infographic to your computer through "Save as" then the graphic is unreadable as in the screenshot below. Perhaps this is what the user experienced.
Adding to the above, however, when viewed inside Logos, the graphic can be zoomed in and viewed properly.
Does this mean you can view it as you need to, and your problem is resolved?
@Jason Stone (Logos) I noticed on Verbum/Mac, if I bring up Life of Abraham as an example, it comes up looking great (M4 Mac). But if you zoom in and out, it gets totally blurry. Zooming in and out more makes it go away again and it looks nice again. Sometimes panning around causes it too, but definitely zooming in/out makes it really bad until you zoom more.
@Jason Stone (Logos) No, the problem seems to be on the mobile app (Android, can't say for IOS).
On the mobile app the infographics are not viewable at all. It also only zooms in to a certain point and then it won't zoom in further. Below is a screenshot I took from my mobile phone:
On the Desktop app, a person can zoom in and view the infographic but when you download the infographic to your computer the text is not viewable and the image quality is horrible.
Those are the two issues I've encountered when trying to recreate the initial poster's issue.
Just in case you need it, I can confirm this observation by @SavedbyGrace: "On the mobile app the infographics are not viewable at all. It also only zooms in to a certain point and then it won't zoom in further."
This is the double-tap zoom on Android tablet (old Samsung SM-T865). Pinch-and-zoom just springs back to the original size. Cool graphic if I could just see it, lol.
I can confirm that we are working on fixing this issue.
This will be fixed with the release of version 42.
That sounds good, @Joe McCune (Faithlife). Will this work for zooming into other pictures, too, as often requested?
@NichtnurBibelleser Yes.
Good day,
Unfortunately, this issue is not fixed on my side when viewing the infographics on mobile (Android), @Joe McCune (Faithlife) , please see the attached. I made sure that the Logos App is up to date as well.
Also, on the Desktop App, exporting the image is kind of pointless since you can't read any of the text. @Joe McCune (Faithlife)
In version 42, we improved how images can be viewed and zoomed in Android.
However, many of the infographics still do not display as well as they should, even though they now display better than they did previously.
We are working on another ticket, which will further improve the display of infographics in Android.
This is a tricky image to export because it is so long, but have you tried exporting it using the Media Tool, instead of directly from Faithlife Infographics? Just open the Media Tool and search for "Life of Abraham".
Thanks for the advice. I've looked at the slides in the Media Tool but they don't nearly look as nice as the infographic. No worries though, I just thought there is a better way to export it. Appreciate your reply.
Version 42 doesn't solve the issue. The text is still blurry. Though it can now zoom to a larger view.

I want to find all the NT passages that contain cross references to a particular set of two or more OT passages. For instance, I want to find all the places in the NT that reference BOTH Psalm 110:1 and Psalm 8:6. The references can be in the same verse or in the near context (paragraph, chapter, the range is variable). I…
Does Logos carry Spells of Coming Forth by Day, aka, the so-called Egyptian Book of the Dead? I kind of don't think so, but I figured I would check.
Does anyone have a couple of screenshots of how this Bible appears in the mobile app?
I want to find books in my library based on how I'm feeling and my energy level and my current interest. For example, suppose I want to do some leisure reading when I'm brain dead - completely worn out and too tired to study or "get something done". I just want to enjoy the bible or something "fun". So not studying or…
This tool has conversion to dollars (for those of us in the USA). Is it adjusted for inflation? Example: Right now the conversion for 1 denarius is $8. But someday that will be out of date. How often is this part of the tool updated?
