Hello,
I would like to be able to add my own cross references to bible verses.
I agree. This will be useful to me too and possibly to others too.
What I would like is to add them as referencesthat pop-up when the mouse hovers over that text.
What normally happens is that we can mark this up as a part of out notes. So, if cross-references could be:
(a) Marked up (other than by notes) … perhaps by invoking an 'Add Cross-reference' feature for users,
and
(b) if these too would be searchable when other panes are opened such as 'Fact-book', etc, under a User Cross-Reference, then that would make the entire issue rather neat, tidy and comprehensive.
Blessings,
In Christ Jesus,
Tony.
I strongly support this - actually I seem to remember this has been asked for several times in the past. Maybe there's an existing suggestion somewhere. Cross-refs or links are a logical extension of the current design of notes / highlights (since they would be notes consisting of anchors only), and are the perfect way to make eBooks and other missing links functional from a user perspective.
You can anchor a note to the referenced text and place the crossreference in the note.
In the two resources: MHQ (The Meaning of the Holy Qur'an, Abdullah Yusuf Ali) and The Quran with Christian Commentary (Gordon Nickel), when adding an anchor, I don't see Reference as an option and Active Reference isn't available on mobile. The Reference field seems to recognize: 1. canonical holy bible references 2.…
Editing or writing a sermon can be done on an iPad, desk top, or laptop. Why not add the same functions to the mobile phone? So often I have an idea for a sermon I am currently working on and would like to immediately enter the idea into the developing sermon using my mobile phone, however, this feature is not possible.…
I’ve been using the mobile app for years, and the addition of the floating insights button is making it really hard to continue. When I’m reading a passage on my iPhone, my eyes are constantly drawn down to it. And please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think it added any functionality? I am conditioned to get to the…
I use the Bible Study tool regularly. Please add that the inserted Bible passages also include the verse references as an option.
I add all metadata such as date, Bible text, etc. to my Bible studies. Why can't I find them in the homily manager? (Or is it named sermon manager in english?)
