Logos has the Sermon Builder, it would be awesome to have a Liturgy Builder!
It would be great to add hymnals and other worship resources, track the use of Scripture uses in worship, and generally track the liturgies of a church.
Please add!
Do you mean something like Source and Summit? (I'm assuming I'm not violating forum guidelines with this hyperlink because currently Logos/Verbum offers nothing like this)
I don't know how a Liturgy Builder would work. Per the above, looks like a crossover of Proclaim and a Homily Builder.
But it'd do wonders for marketing Logos (and Verbum) to a wider audience.
I think a Liturgy Builder would be awesome. It would widen the audience a lot. Something like a formular where you fill in the Songs, important parts of the Litrugy, Readings are filled in automatically according to the day or can be manually changed, connected to the Lectionary, to the Roman Missal and liturgical ressources like for the ""Penitential Act" (is this correct?), intercessions, etc. When you click on Intercessions another window opens for you to type in a text or add a text from your Library. It automatically creats printouts with readable fonts for reading publically. Ai supported working. If you type in a search word, a scripture or a subject, a sermon title and it would give out songs, intercessions, Kyries, Alleluias, "Penitential Acts", stories, illustrations, texts, Eucharistic Prayers, Prayer over the people from the Missale, Blessings, etc. Connected to the
That's pretty much what Source and Summit does, which I linked above. I believe it even fills in the proper antiphons for the day (or the feast), and suggests musical arrangements for those antiphons, in case you want to use the propers instead of hymns.
If Verbum had something like this, it would simply be unbeatable with its ability to connect resources/patristics/homilies/biblical commentaries/hymnals/missals to the liturgy builder tool.
I mean, with Source and Summit, you can even choose the musical arrangements of the Mass that you would like to use. Want to use Missa de Angelis? Or Mass VI? Or the chant from the Roman Missal? You can simply paste those into your program, and create a liturgy aid with hymns, antiphons, scripture readings, the creed, etc., and print it out for your large parish to follow along with. Or keep it digital and send it out with FlockNote or whatever.

The few course videos I have browsed show the speaker against a white backrgound. I suggest creating an eye-aesthetically-pleasing background, as the current white background is uninviting, bland, and not enjoyable to watch. If Logos can create a fantastic tool as study assistant, surely the team can upgrade these plain…
I request that the feature AUD:ELNT (Greek Audio New Testament (John Schwandt)) becomes available again for the software.
I learned that Logos will not search highlights even when highlights are filtered in the Notes. When searching for a word or topic, Logos only searches the "notes" within (or attached to) the highlight. It cannot search for any string inside the highlight itself. Which is strange given that the book that I highlighted is…
I know this has been mentioned before, but it bears repeating. We need the ability to footnote in Sermon Builder. In order to maintain integrity and avoid any appearance of plagiarism, I think it is vital that Sermon Builder adopt the capability to footnote, not only outside resources quoted, but Logos ones as well. There…
Currently, the Sermon Builder will function properly like a desktop app, changing the cursor to flat, allowing text to be selected individually and taking proper inputs from the trackpad/mouse. However, outside of Sermon Builder in the iPadOS app, the cursor remains a cursor, and the whole app behaves like a touch based…
