I am most unhappy with design decisions that you have made in this new implementation of your software. In particular, I am upset about the interlinear function. In the legacy version, the interlinear function was invoked with ONE click, and turned off with ONE click. In this new implementation, it can take up to four clicks: "more" (if "view" is not on the menu bar) > "view" > interlinear > "on".
This was an insensitive, "bonehead", idiotic design decision. I have a PhD in computer science, and 45 years of experience in the field. I would fire a person who made such a decision. The goal is to make work easier to do, not harder. Whoever made the decision to design it this way was not a serious user of the software. The designer did not understand the consequences of his/her decision on this matter. (I would suspect that this person thought that this was an infrequent setting. Much like a rearview mirror which is set once, and then forgotten about until it gets out of adjustment. Unlike a rearview mirror, I frequently turn the interlinear on and then off.
I recommend: 1) that you develop a hotkey that instantly turns interlinear on, and again it turns it off from within the Bible itself, without interaction with the menu bar. 2) that you allow users to choose between your "legacy" interface and this new interface.
Prior to receiving this new subscription, I was a very enthusiastic user and supporter of Logos. This single event has soured me so much that I am no longer a vocal proponent of Logos.
