I’m excited to announce that Lexham Press is being acquired by Baker Publishing Group. Baker is one of our key publishing partners, and this move deepens our relationship for the long haul.
This is great news for Lexham readers who want more availability of print resources. It’s also great news for Lexham authors, as Baker has nearly a century of Christian publishing expertise and a broad readership base. With this new partnership, we’re ensuring Lexham’s best-in-class content will reach even more students of Scripture for generations to come.
Lexham titles will continue to be a backbone of Logos libraries, and Logos will continue to have digital rights to Lexham content. Logos will still own, maintain, and even create select digital-only titles like the Lexham Research Commentaries. Although the names might change, you shouldn’t notice any change in your Logos app or on our storefront.
If you’re a longtime Lexham Press reader, you may know the name Jesse Myers. He’s currently the president and CEO of Baker Publishing House, but he served as publisher of Lexham for some time. It’s one of many reasons we know that Lexham content, authors, and employees will be in good hands.
