Hi, I'm new to proclaim and I'm trying to insert a slide that will play a YouTube Video for our church service. The slide comes up and displays "Video unavailable" and "Watch on YouTube"
Hi PBC, welcome to the forum! YouTube has a setting where creators can prevent their videos from being shown outside of YouTube. When that is turned on, you will get an error like that. Try a different video - if you add a "web page" item and paste the URL from YouTube, it will work fine. Unfortunately, there is not a good workaround for your issue in Proclaim. On Windows, if you press the Windows Key + Shift + Arrow Key, you can move a browser window that has YouTube off your computer onto your main screen; I am sure there is a similar hotkey for Mac.
I found that adding the phrase "-nocookie.com" after the word youtube in the url, it makes the video work.
I wish someone at Proclaim would look into what might be done about YouTube errors. Things are getting worse. Items that I know have no security on them and have played just fine up till know, are now coming up with errors a lot. Is there anything that can be done for this? Sometimes the fix that Jared posted works and sometimes it doesn't. It will play with that fix one time and then when you play it again you get an error. It's really becoming a problem!

We are in the process of setting up our Live Streaming of the Sunday Morning Service but having a few teething issues. I would like to insert a new slide into an existing timeline. On PowerPoint I used to just click into the space between existing slides. I am new to Proclaim so still finding my way around I have looked into all the drop boxes and tried to just click into the space between existing slides but to no avail. Any advice would…
Please ignore this post - I intended to post it in the Proclaim forum but wound up here instead. Thanks!
Our Associate Pastor/worship leader recently purchased a Chavet DJ Obey 40 lighting controller to replace an old three-channel unit we have had for years. I have been trying to integrate this device into our existing technology infrastructure. So far, I have been unable to get the controller to respond to MIDI signals from…
