Dear Staff,
I appreciate the ability to customize the Passage and Topic Guides with different sections and changing location of those sections.
When the Theology Guide was dropped for the Factbook Theological lens, I feel I lost significant function and customizing ability I need.
Please keep the Passage and Topic guides, with their ability to be customized with different sections.
Right now, I can not access some theology resources that are not tagged in the Factbook theological lens. In a Passage or Topic Guide I can add a collection of these non- or mis- tagged resources so I can see or search a theology theme in them as a workaround for them not showing up in the biblical or sytematic theology sections. Its a workaround. I have to create a separate theology collection and open that at the same time I look at the biblical and/or systematic theology sections. BUT I can not access these resources at all in the Factbook theology lens. I understood that Factbook was to be a quick and easy way to get into a study and not have all the robust features of the Passage or Topic Guide. With the deletion of the Theology Guide, and porting to a lens in Factbook, I feel I lost the option to access more robust features in the Theology Guide. I fear this may be a trend to switch over to Factbook, and delete the very useful older Guides.
I vote for a continuation of the Passage, Topic, Customizable section Guides; and some return to a similar customizable section ability in a Theology Guide. For me, to be able to have significant customizability is more important than having quick and easy accessibility to generalized useability.
I'd appreciate feedback or further clarification and discussion of the idea.
Thanks,
Mike
