I was wondering if there was a problem with the app servers as I am getting errors when attempting to run a passage guide and delays when changing verses or resources... even a crash or two?
Neither the iPhone nor the iPad is receiving downloads this morning. I was also noticing sluggish performance in the past day or so.
I think this is still happening. I started experiencing this situation this morning around 4:45 edt.
Support had me delete my reading plan.
Logged out and back in. Got rid of any offline books
I even deleted and re-installed the app.
All to no avail.
It is still not functional at all.
My iPad is not connecting to Logos either. I just noticed it this morning. I had a book that was downloaded that I could read, when I attempted to switch to another book that was supposed to be downloaded, the app couldn't load it. It can't download news and reading schedules on the home page either. I've logged out and back in but still not responding. I am on wifi.
No response. Very annoying.
We're working on it.
I don't own ipad right now ,but I am considering of buying ipad ,what can ipad do with logos 4? Is it possible to use offline,it is possible to search ?
The iPad is a wonderful device. Logos for iphone/iPod Touch/iPad works the same, although it does work on the iPad without screen doubling, so that you get a very clear book reading experience. The program allows you to download books to the iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch) for reading, so that you have offline reading ability. The advantage of the iPad over the iPod Touch or iPhone is that you have a larger screen and a better reading experience.
It can do searches, but it is not a replacement for Logos on a desktop. I think of it as a more comfortable format for reading.

I hope they are hard at work on fleshing out the iPad version with stronger search capability, split panels/layouts, better offline integration, and offline access to word studies and other tools. Right now the iPhone/iPad app is a couple steps behind the competition but if they address these issues it would be the best in the business due to the library. Right now I use it because it is where my library is not because it is the best. I have confidence they will change that.
Thank you Russel, which one of the ipad ,would you recommend me? Does it make any difference ,if I buy German operating system?
