A common diagram I wish to create for a text, especially as a slide for a presentation has the primary text with links to cross-reference type text in boxes on each side. I do this especially when the language used intentionally echoes another text making it part of the context. I would make these far more frequently if I could enter the secondary passages all at once from a list then simply move them to the desired location.
