I suggest that when you use abbreviations for Lexicons and other items, that you list after each full name in paratheses the abbreviation so one can become familiar with them.
Do you mean adding these sort of definitions to books, for example?
If so, that would be difficult as it would involve Logos changing the text of books written by other authors
Or did you mean something different?
Sorry, I was not clear enough. The New American Standard Bible had (NASB) 2000. It would be nice if that type of abbreviation was at the end of lexicon full name so when the abbreviation is used could be easier to identify and remember the lexicon and another type of Book that Logos abbreviates.

I read that Logos relies on OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Google Gemini as two of its AI backend models (trained on the Logos library corpus). If you're not using Perplexity, it would be another good AI model to incorporate into Smart Search, Study Assistant, etc. I'm getting a ton of use out of it as a general AI tool the more I…
I'm behind on my reading plan. That "Behind" label is no good. I could barely see it. I had to look real closely to even read what it says. A little banner on the corner doesn't help with anything. What does this do? If it doesn't have any effect on reminding me that I'm behind, why is it there? I propose more acute…
I had issues getting the link working from the Easter study today, so I wanted to enter those multiple refs in my Bible and have them display as an inline passage list. That's not currently possible to do within a Bible pane without first creating a passage list then setting it as a visual filter. It would be neat if Logos…
In John 6:18 διεγείρετο is parsed by Logos as a present passive instead of an imperfect passive. In greek texts which have the variant διηγείρετο it parsed correctly as an imperfect passive. This variant is in the majority of manuscripts including Sinaiticus. Is this a common parsing problem in Logo
Is there a way to set an automatic and dynamic prefix for the text that is used when I create a favorite? I would love the prefix to be today's date in the YYYYMMD format. Could this be an option for both the desktop and mobile app? I create so many favorites that I don't know which one is which. I literally have to click…
