Why doesn't Logos include free and public domain books like the Apostolic Fathers that I can find across the web in their library?
I can understand at least restricting it to a subscription tier, but even on the Pro Sub I cannot sit down and read 1 Clement or John Wesley's Plain Account on Christian perfection without purchasing either the entirety of Wesley's works or a collection of Early Church Fathers. I like having everything in one place, but if that isn't possible with paying, I'm likely to build my physical library and use the free websites I find instead of making an expensive Logos purchase.
One of the main reasons I'm subscribed to Logos is for it's access to texts and information. But if the basic public domain books or Apostolic Fathers cannot be accessed, instead a bunch of rather random or out-of-date commentaries, I begin to question my continued subscription. The tools are basic, and if I need an AI tool I can find that online (building AI into Logos doesn't do much for my value).
