when it comes to copying anything in a windows program...if all else fails, CTL + C will probably do it. It's actually the only way I copy and paste. CTL + c to copy, CTL + V to paste.

HiI tried your suggestion it will only copy one line
Could you try and paste some text from a dictionary or encyclopaedia to see if you have the same problem
I'm wondering if this is a bug
I expected to select the text I want to copy right click and choose the menu copy
I'm wondering if this is a feature that's been forgotten about
okay I've tried another way of copying text from a resource it a bit long winded, I select the text in the resource , right click to bring up the menu
I have an existing note file which shows up in this menu "add a note to" after this I open up the note and copy the text then I can paste it in WordPerfect [:O]

I tried this with Word and had no problem with the CTL shortcuts. Maybe its a Wordperfect thing.

MIchael,
The first section on the right click context menu for any resource is "Selection" this allows whatever is selected to be copied.

I found out what was causing the problem in WordPerfect
Are you sure the problem wasn't with the "Perfect" part?
