Bob, will I have to redo my former collections to see this?
Do I have to wait for indexing to stop?
And, is "Parallel Passage" a collection?
I don't have the later nor any o my beta 3 collections showing up.
Hints?
Steve

Bob, will I have to redo my former collections to see this?
No, these were all collections I had been making from earlier betas.

Don't know
[quote]And, is "Parallel Passage" a collection?
No; parallel passage is a stock section from the guide.

Sorry Bob, I meant to say that I still have all of my beta 3 collections BUT that they are not showing up in the Passage Guide.
I had a previous passage guide for these verses , maybe I should also try deleting it.
I am very happy that yours is now working - will keep experimenting.

multiple collections in the PG!! Yay!
I too am pleased with this, as it makes the PG useful to me again.
However, notice the small number of resources displayed (just 10). When I click "more" I get only 10 more. I have to keep clicking to get everything I'm looking for.
Further, the results are not displayed in any way that makes sense to me. It would be great if they were grouped by author or at least resource. For example, in your Bible History and Culture collection you have three entries for "The so That's Why Bible" the are first, middle and last on your list. You have 2 in "Who's Who in Christian History" (3rd and 2nd from the last). The Systematic Theologies collection above has similar issues.
I have a collection called "Sermons" Everything from Piper to Spurgeon. In L3 these were listed in drop down lists by resource. I could then expand to the details I wanted. This listing is very difficult to navigate - plus I hate to keep pressing that "more" button. So I may just need to create smaller collections.
But it would be great if we could choose to sort the display by "Relevance, Resource, or Author"

Rich,
very good suggestion...that would be a very logical addition.
I'd settle for the first two [:D]

How do you get multiple collections to show up? When I'm creating a new guide it seems to only let me select one collection.
However, one cool thing I noticed is in the collection selection it now includes ratings i.e. all my 5 star resources can be treated as a collection.

How do you get multiple collections to show up?
Just click "Collections" again from the "Add" dialog at the top/right of the pane. Then scroll down to the bottom and select the collection you want to display.

Thanks, I see now. I was trying to do it from "Make a new guide template" instead of just opening the existing passage guide. Very cool!

Pam,
you can also do it from "make a new guide template" too.

Thanks, Rich!
I hadn't broken the code on finding it, either!
When it opened, & I found that my new dynamic Commentaries collection was already showing, suddenly PG gave me ALL the commentaries (3 pages of index to them) instead of the 1 page it had been giving me. Strange!
Thanks again,
Bill
