OK, so how does one continue to disregard a thread with over 1,500 views and almost 100 replies ?
Note to all: disregard the "disregard" title of this thread. It was a mistake, but it's too late to edit it now.
There, now you can happily continue to disregard disregarding this thread. [;)]

I'm not sure what you are trying to say - I'm just going to disregard it.

Hi Tes, we are so serious much of the time on the Forum. Sometimes we just need to "let off a little steam" (an English idiom meaning to have a bit of fun to release tension). It helps build up the community. We're just joking and everyone here knows it. (Except George and Philip. [;)]) Maybe you were joining in with the joking too, and I just didn't catch your subtlety. It's so hard joking in English when it's not your native language.
And just to be sure we keep this related to Logos as per the Forum Guidelines (*): Speaking of referee, here's a quote from 1000 Illustrations for Preaching & Teaching (in Scholar's Library)
"My Own Referee"Billy Conn, an excellent former heavyweight boxer, who in seventy-four fights was knocked out only twice, both times by Joe Louis, wrote of the "quiet humor, dignity and honor" of the "Brown Bomber" in the July, 1983, issue of the Reader’s Digest. Joe was a remarkable person.
Louis defended his title a month following Pearl Harbor. He devoted his purse to the Navy Relief Fund. About two months later he fought again, and this time donated his purse to the Army Relief Society.
According to Conn, fighters worry about who will referee and judge their performances. Holding up his fists, Joe would exclaim, "I bring my own referee."
(*) But don't worry; they don't mind us joking around once in a while. They sometimes join in, even.
Now back to more seriousness, what this original thread was about: junk. We know that "God doesn't make junk." Ergo, God did not make this thread. (In case you'd been thinking otherwise.) Now let's not get into a theological argument about it, as that would definitely violate the forum guidelines. [;)]

I remember listening to one of those fights on the radio and my uncle slamming his score pad to the floor as the referee counted ten (He was a Conn fan). I was just a lad, but you brought back a few memories. Thanks, Rosie.

Hi Rosie, when I said referee ''Logos as per the Forum Guidelines (*)'' was not im my mind ,I was thinking of a referee among you.If I would think about Logos then it would have been the FiFa.No problem ,I was also joining in your joking in my own style.
Blessings in Christ.

Yeah, they were always arguing in going around in circles. What circles have you been hanging around with lately?

Well, I just can't believe there has been so few dog photos, or talk of pointed sticks for so long!
Or maybe, dogs fetching sticks. The world needs more of that kind of thing.

We just returned from our local AAA minor league baseball game (Rochester Red Wings associated with the Minnesota Twins). Tonights game featured sticks, circles, and dogs.
Of course the sticks were used to hit balls - except for the one that got stuck 4/5 of the way up the screen behind home plate after being thrown by a player. It was fun to see the Dan Mason, the stadium manager, climb a ladder to break it free.
The circles were Frisbees. There were two types - the one was given away by a local business as a means to get some business. The others were used by a guest entertainer whose trained and friendly dogs could catch a dozen Frisbees in a matter of a minute or two. They could also jump rope - but ropes have not been a part of the conversation here - so that doesn't count. You can find more about the Skyy Dogs here

I missed that but had notice activity on the forums had halved because Rosie hadn't been posting. The other MVP's are working hard to fill the void (i.e. try and pull back some of the total post differential between themselves and Rosie [;)] )

I was thinking this thread... but you never know where Rosie's name will show up while she is gone.
I hope she is doing something restful, peaceful, enjoyable during her time away.[H]

Thanks for your encouragement Tes. It is appreciated. Your desire to study God's Word is also an encouragement. Ultiimately that's why we were drawn to Logos Bible Software in the first place and we are drawn together in this community. And we study his Word so that in our lives we might be able to live "To God be the Glory"

Threads are like feathers in a windstorm. Once you turn them loose, you can never recover them again. Of course, God could stop the wind, and Logos could remove the thread.
