Why does Power Lookup open when double-clicking a word that isn't found?
When I double-click (keylink) a word that isn't found in any dictionary, the Power Lookup window opens.
Why?
Example:
Double-clicking apolyō (transliterated Greek) in the following window does it:
Or double-click on "deceiveth" in Gal 6:3 (KJV)...same thing.
Shouldn't it just say "word not found"?

Well it does basically imitate L3 which would perform a global library search if a keylink word wasn't found.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I don't believe PL does anything different than the keylink. It's not a "search". It's just like the keylink summary in v3. Plus it never finds anything, and immediately goes into follow mode and looks up the references of the current book.

If you had http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/strnggbw you would be OK with KJV's English!
Transliterated text is handled by Enhanced Strong's Lexicon in v3 (it got nuked by L4), except that the form apolyo would not be recognised whereas apolouo would be!
So there's always going to be a fallback. PL does re-iterate the word alone if nothing can be found and it's in None mode!

I guess my point was that PL is repeating the same search that the keylink did with no results. (I really don't care about the words I mentioned, they were just examples). I'd rather not open a new window when we already know the result set is empty--AND it doesn't open in "None" mode, so it's practically perfectly pointless in every way.

Sorry Todd, I should have used emoticons!
