Today, the Hermeneia was available for download. The Old Testament was supposed to have 39 volumes, but only 17 were delivered. Anyone shorted? Anyone else get all 39?
Blessings,
Pastor Michael
I got all 39. Which 17 did you get? Could it be that your download got interrupted at some point by a problem with your Internet connection? Try typing "update resources" and see if that causes the missing ones to get downloaded.
These are the 17 I got
Micah
Psalms 2
Qoheleth
Song of songs
Zepheniah
Opps guess I only got 15
Jeremiah 1 & 2
Joel & Amos
Hosea
Ezekiel 1 & 2
Fourth Ezra
Daniel
Duetero Isaiah
Amos
1 Enoch
1 Chonicles
And there are no updates available
Pastor Michael also please note some volumes are actually from the Continental Commentary Series, so to check that you have all of the correct volumes you would need to enter the following command in your library window command box
series:(hermeneia,continental)
There are some continental commentary books, BUT that is not what I ordered. I ordered
Downloadable product: Hermeneia: Old Testament (39 Vols.) (SKU: 7755)
so that is what I expect

The 39 volume collection is a composite of Hermeneia and Continental Commentaries. The title of the collection I agree is confusing but if you take a look at the product page http://www.logos.com/products/details/7755
The 39 volumes is made up a of a mix of Continental and Hermeneia titles. I don't believe there is 39 volumes on the Old Testament in print for Hermeneia. This is in part why the publisher decide to add the Continental volumes to fill out the collection. See the following message from Dan Pritchett which contains a message from the publishers about this new package: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23022/174711.aspx#174711.
Hope this clarifies that for you.
When you add up the Continental and Hermeneia Series together do you get the 39 volumes or are you still missing some ?
counting everything Hermeneia and continental, I have 73 volumes for OT and NT which is 2 more than the 71 they promised, so I guess I am OK. Thanks for clearing that up.
Ther Hermeneia and Continental

confused me also, because it was $600 for 63 volumes. I bought the CD for $600 and returned it to get the Hermeneia OT and NT (39 and 31 volumes respectively) for the same price.
Still a bit confused, because for $600 I want to make sure I get the right thing.
The two collections combined there is actually only 63 volumes. The separate Old & New Testament collections have an overlap of 7 titles:
1 Enoch 1, Fourth Ezra, The Apostolic Tradition, The Didache, Ignatius of Antioch, Sheperd of Hermas, and The Odes of Solomon.
Hence 39 + 31 - 7 = 63 volumes.
However you should have 73 resources in your library because:
Apostolic Traditions has 2 volumes (Commentary and Adaptions) - > + 1 resource count
The Critical Edition of Q comes with:
Synopsis/Introduction, Critical Apparatus
Q in English, French, German, Unformatted Greek translations,
Gospel of Thomas in English, French, German and Greek translations -> + 9 resource count
Therefore there is an extra 10 resource files and hence a total of 73 show in your library.
So in summary 31+39 = 63 = 73 [:^)]
Andrew,
Hmmm, I think you counted one too many, while there are 10 critical editions; one of them is part of the Hermeneia commentary: I thought it should be 63+9=72
For my collections:
Not sure why you are getting one less on these same searches.
Looks like you are blessed with one more "Bible Commentary"; we have the same number for "Commentary" and "Monograph" type.
Out of curiosity, I did one more physical count based on what is advertised which is 63 http://www.logos.com/products/details/8047
I got what was advertised + 9 critical editions.
Have you had a changce to look at any of the books? I am a seminary student, and am interested in the collection. Some of my professors say that it is a little on the critical side.

I think the difference might be an issue with the Apostolic Tradition. Do you have two volumes ?
(According to the descriptions of these there should actually be a third part, original languages which doesn't seem to be available in Logos but that's a different issue which I discuss below but just wanted to note in the context of the image)
I ask if you have both of these because of an inconsistency I noticed on the file lists for the different packages. I ordered the separate NT & OT packages When you look at the file download list for the NT collection it contains the file HRMNEIAAPSTLC.lbxlls only, the OT contains the file HRMNEIAAPADAPT.lbxlls only and the 63 volume collection contains HRMNEIAAPSTLC.lbxlls only. Not by ordering the OT and NT collections I got both files HRMNEIAAPSTLC.lbxlls and HRMNEIAAPADAPT.lbxlls, but it appears from if you ordered the 63 volume collection you only got the file HRMNEIAAPSTLC.lbxlls
Ok so it appears the three different collections are downloading different configurations of files and and additional file HRMEIAAPORLNG.lbxlls which does exist and from the description, should be part of the packages is not included or unlocked by any of the packages:
I'll send off an e-mail to Logos about this apparent discrepancy in the file lists and the locked volume that none of seem to have access to but from the descriptions appears we should, hopefully we'll get some feedback early next week, one way or the other.

Good detective work, Andrew.
I ordered the combined package, and yes, only have HRMNEIAAPSTLC.lbxlls.
Humm .. I got the Commentary but neither the Adaptations nor the Original Languages.
Yup, I too got the combined package and am missing HRMNEIAAPADAPT.lbxlls. Let us know what you find out. Thanks!
Same here, I bought the combined package and appear to be missing HRMNEIAAPADAPT.lbxlls also.
All three volumes of the Apostolic Tradition are on the 2.0 cd rom. FYI
