SR-3 Pop ups still misbehaving
It seems that the behaviour of some of our pop-ups still leaves a little to be desired.
I was working on the above poster when Logos was 'installing and relaunching' the program flashed to the front and opened the pop-up. The pop up persisted until the main program was brought back to the front and clicked on. Clicking or moving anything else seemed not to affect it.
I wonder if it would have disappeared if I had pressed escape?
Actually now I read the first lines in the pop-up I wonder if this can be categorised as an intelligent bug?

Recognizing you're on the Mac side of the house, the PC version is similar. Whenever I switch layouts and then switch over to another application while I'm waiting, the residual layout pics overlay my new application as well. In an opposite fashion, the mouseover popups in the L4 menu don't handle the mouse events correctly so that if you move your mouse over a menu covered up by another menu element, the underlying one will remove the top one. Same thing also happens in Biblia with Opera, so I've learned that Logos has a general blind spot in this area and just to smile and keep going.

I had a similar issue a week and a half ago. A pop-up from Preposition Use in BWS kept following me around until I gave up and restarted. Reported as number 2) at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/24283.aspx, but didn't receive any attention at the time. Can't reproduce it now, so it might have gone away in the last update, but, then again, it might just be random. If anyone's interested I've still got a zipped log on my desktop, which I think covers this.

Unfortunately I just confirmed that I too still have a pop-up problem. I switched prioritized lectionary to check a thing, and the info window of the new lectionary remained open and got on top of things it shouldn't have been on top of. Fortunately it was much easier to get rid of this time, though I'm not sure exactly how I did it.

Repeatable using Logos Bible Software 4.0b Beta 2 (4.10.4.6567) (Update Channel: beta) - copy and paste version works [:)]
* pop-up display in Logos 4 Mac (e.g. hover mouse over shortcut)
* use command + tab to switch applications
* pop-up remains (one more curiosity)
After switching back to Logos 4 Mac, pop-up disappears - can be done quickly using command + tab (release keys after highlighting Logos 4 - then press shortcut to switch again.
Keep Smiling [:)]
You mentioned that the "fist lines" of the pop-up may reflect a lack of intelligence. I'll have to defer to your opinion on this matter because I am not intelligent enough to know a "fist" line from a clothes line. Can you enlighten me about fist lines in a non-explosive way?[:^)]
ooo argh
If you was from Summerzet you would 've arhs to spare and could fit one in where my incompetence left one out.
