Constant crashing
If I click on the search button, the prgram crashes.
If I right click and try to open the search dialogue in a new tab, the program crashes.
If I selct a word in a bible, and then from the right-click context menu select a search option, the program crashes.
There is no record in the logos4.log of any crash.

I'm not having any trouble with the search feature and no one else has chimed in so perhaps you are alone in this. Did it just suddenly start after beta6?

No Tom, it happened once or twice in B5. I had hoped it would be OK with B6. Everything was going well until yesterday. Then crash after crash after crash.
I'm more concerned that not one of the Techs has responded at all. If you go down the list of this sub-forum. There are only about three reports that have received no attention. This is one of them.

The log file attached to this thread does not show an error or exception indicating a crash. Can you try to reproduce the crash, wait about one minute after it crashes without restarting the program, then attach the new log file to this thread again? Hopefully that file will have something indicating the cause. I assume that indexing completed since Beta 6 was installed.

Can you try to reproduce the crash,
I can reproduce it at will. Absolutely anything to do with search, such as opening the search pane crashes the program.
Here is another log file from well after 10 minutes after the crash.

I know that there are no errors recorded. I have tried dozens of times, always leaving the log long enough to write an error.
Currently, without search, the program is very limited. I wonder whether I don't have to install again.

Does this occur on both your computers, or just one? If just one, have you rebooted it recently? Has anything else changed about it recently (driver updates, OS patches, etc.)?

I'm on holidays, so I only have my netbook on me.
There have been a lot of Windows updates in the last week. Not sure if that could have influenced things.
I'll reboot after I've finished downloading the updated v3 resources - that's taking a while. After a reboot, I'll report back.
