Aggravating Behavior

In the Passage Guide main window (on the left):

I single click to the right of the passage (e.g. Psalm 6);
I look at my keyboard to find the delete key (e.g. to delete the 6, so I can then type in a 7);
While looking down, Logos changes my selection (just to the right of the 6) and selects the entire field;
I hit "delete", the whole field goes blank, and I have to type in the whole passage.

Is this just because the 4.0b Logos is still so slow on my MacBook Pro? Or is single clicking in a field supposed to select the whole thing - rather than insert the cursor at the place I've clicked (as I'm expecting)?

Yes.

Probably. How slow is it? The speed of my MBP is close to my desktop.

I believe left clicking is supposed to insert the cursor, while right clicking is supposed to highlight the whole reference.

So the first question would be: you did left click, right?

Live & learn. You are correct for the Mac version. Windows version highlights the entire reference.

True, but it also brings up the contextual menu, which is annoying if you only want to insert the cursor.

I'm fairly certain the Windows behaviour (as described in that thread) is a bug, and the Mac behaviour is how it's supposed to work. The Mac behaviour makes sense; the Windows behaviour does not.

Actually, I avoid MacDonalds. They have not made a decent hamburger since 1961. [:D]
